The City of Ithaca voted to electrify and decarbonize its buildings. Timur Dogan, assistant professor of architecture, is working with the city on the decarbonization project. Dogan calls the timeline for the project “ambitious” and notes that, “The technology we’re talking about implementing here is already off the shelf and readily available. It’s a matter of political will and financial means to make this happen.”
