Funding

In order to mobilize Cornell to foster ambitious climate action, The 2030 Project supports Cornell faculty with two primary funding programs: research-to-impact Fast Grant seed funding and efforts to accelerate impact-oriented work with the Climate Solutions Fund.

Climate Solutions Fund

This program provides broader funding for impact-oriented faculty efforts across the The 2030 Project’s research pillars: food & farms of the future; energy systems of the future; materials of the future; and societies of the future.

Fast Grants

The 2030 Project provides research-to-impact seed funding to enable faculty to seize urgent and unique opportunities for impact-oriented climate research.
